Vehicular network architecture for grouped mobility and real time services

Vehicular networks are becoming more and more popular because of their
high potential in traffic safety applications (accident notification, road
traffic management) and entertainment possibilities by allowing travelers
to access Internet services.
The objectives of the Trafic Project are to exploit road state environment
and inter vehicle communications to achieve a reliable and predictive
vehicle group mobility management. Furthermore, efficient routing
protocols will be developed based on traffic state information and a
predictive mobility approach.
