Positions of CNRS researchers for 2012 Positions of CNRS researchers for 2012
4 December 2011

2012 recruitment campaign of CNRS researchers is opened up to January 5th 2012. LRI wants to receive applications at all levels (CR2, CR1, DR2), both in section 07 and sections 01, 08 and CID 43 and 44.

The 2012 recruitment campaign of CNRS researchers is opned up to January 5th 2012.

LRI, the Laboratory for Computer Science at University Paris-Sud, is joint with CNRS. It has around 260 members, including 114 faculty (CNRS and INRIA researchers, Paris-Sud professors) and around 100 Ph.D. students. The research themes addressed by LRI cover a wide spectrum of computer science and its interactions: algorithmics, combinatorics, bioinformatics, testing and proof of programs, machine learning, optimization, distributed data masses, interaction, high performance computing, architecture and networking.

The LRI offers an exceptional environment inside the campus Paris-Saclay. It is strongly involved into collaborative and structuring actions for research and innovation:
  • joint research groups with INRIA Saclay - Île-de-France (http://www.inria.fr/saclay),
  • research cluster Digiteo in science and technology of information  (http://www.digiteo.fr/),
  • excellence equipment Digiscope (http://www.digiscope.fr),
  • competitiveness cluster Systematic (http://www.systematic-paris-region.org/),
  • European knowledge and innovation community ICT Labs from EIT (http://eit.ictlabs.eu/),
  • future Technological Research Institute SystemX.

We invite you to join our laboratory. To prepare your application and your integration into the LRI, do not hesitate to get in touch with the director Philippe Dague (philippe.dague@lri.fr) and wih the heads of concerned research groups (voir http://www.lri.fr/themes.de.recherche.php).

The LRI wants to receive applications at all levels (CR2, CR1, DR2) both in section 07 and in sections 01, 08 and CID 43 and 44.
The list of opened CNRS researchers positions for 2012 has been published on November 30th, 2011
(http://gestionoffres.dsi.cnrs.fr/fo/offres/default-fr.php) and on-line applications can be submitted from  December 1st, 2011 to January 5th, 2012.

Attached to the Institute of Information Sciences and their Interactions (INS2I), LRI wants to raise up applications  in section 07, where it benefits in particular of an asssignation among 4 other laboratories for 3 CR2 positions, for the following positions:

  • n° 07/01: 10 2nd class full researchers, 2 of which are external positions,
  • n° 07/02: 3 1st class asssistant researchers,
  • n° 07/03: 10 2nd class assistant researchers, 3 of which being preferentially assigned to IRISA, LORIA, LRI, L2S or IRCCyN.
  • LRI is also concerned by pluridisciplinary positions of 2nd class assistant researchers such as n° 07/07: contribution of computer science to new challenges in ecology.

But LRI is also strongly interested in applications in the other following sections:

  • Section 01: position n° 01/05 of 2nd class assistant researcher for assignment in a laboratory depending on section 07 on the topic: Mathematics for Information and Communication Sciences.
  • Section 08: position n° 08/04 of 2nd class assistant researcher for assignment in a laboratory depending on section 07 preferentially on one of the following topics: smart electricity distribution networks (smartgrids); Self-Aware Adaptive System: self-adaptation to environment, self-correction; sensors networks and ambient intelligence; new paradigms for information processing.
  • Interdisciplinary Committee n° 43: Modeling of biological systems, bioinformatics, in particular the two positions n° 43/04 of 2nd class assistant researchers.
  • Interdisciplinary Committee n° 44: Cognition, language, information processing, natural and artificial systems, concerning the 4 positions n° 44/02 of 2nd class assistant researchers, LRI being highly concerned by the preferential topic: Large data corpus (databases, knowledge extraction, visualization).
