The HR unit manages and processes the recruitment of staff on fixed-term contracts on a state subsidy credits and research contracts (33 recruitments in 2018), in conjunction with the UPSud and CNRS staff services. It also manages and monitors the recruitment of paid trainees (43 paid internships in 2018) in conjunction with the UPSud Personnel Department.

It provides individualized follow-up of the administrative and statutory files of the UPSud and CNRS staff (leave, absence, CET, badges, computer account, canteen access ...).

It is the administrator of the "Réséda", "Canopé", "ASSET" and "Agate" (management profile) applications for the CNRS and "ADONIS" for UPSud. It is also "the referent" of all the tools dedicated to the unit's human resources and thus contributes to the maintenance and updating of the unit's membership database, that the unit management queries to respond to inquiries or other assessments.

In addition to his main activities, Gladys Bakayoko also acts as the unit's "Training" correspondent. She is the privileged interlocutor of UPSud and CNRS in terms of information pertaining to training.

It collects training needs, drafts and tracks the implementation of the unit's training plan, under the responsibility of the director. She is the relay of UPSud and the CNRS and works closely with the UPSUD and CNRS HR/Training advisor.

Gladys Bakayoko also serves as the correspondent for "internal and external Communication" of the unit, it is the privileged interlocutor of UPSud and CNRS in terms of internal and external communication.

Its role is to inform the UPSUD and CNRS communication department on any scientific information that the unit wishes to highlight. It broadcasts within the unit the institutional and administrative information concerning UPSud and CNRS. It also advertises the actions that UPSud and CNRS take to make sure that the greatest value is attached to the work of researchers and teacher-researchers. It helps the communication officers of UPSud and CNRS in their missions of encouraging the researchers and the teacher-researchers to the dissemination of scientific information. It participates to the networking activities: meetings, feedback, training actions.

It ensures the material and logistical organization of the scientific and general public institutional events (LRI day, science festival ...).

It seeks the advice and / or assistance of the UPSud or CNRS communication officer as needed.
