A multi-hop wireless network is a network where each node is able to join each others transparently. In such networks, two distant nodes cannot communicate directly and use intermediate nodes to relay information. This ability makes this kind of networks very popular since they can easily cover a wide area for a low cost. But in the same time, this ability makes them complex. They include ad hoc, mesh, sensor and vehicular networks. The team provides solutions in this area to improve the performance of these networks in terms of capacity, robustness, security or energy consumption.
